You can either join the group hike starting from the university at 15:00 or meet us directly at Arzler Alm at 17:00. The Postdoc Network will cover the cost of food for all MUI postdocs. Please note that drinks are not included and must be paid for individually. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and can be ordered from the menu. Partners, children, and other guests who are not MUI postdocs are very welcome to join; however, they will be asked to cover the full cost of their own food and drinks. Please note that the BBQ must be pre-ordered, so we kindly ask that you register HERE. Das Ende der Tierversuche? followed by a panel discussion with Melanie Ort and Michael Ausserlechner (both MUI). It takes place tomorrow, June 11, at 6:00 PM at Cinematograph, Museumsstr 31. (Leokino + Cinematograph Innsbruck - Future Science). Future Science showcases the scientists, technologies, and ideas shaping the future of biomedical research. It features Thomas Hartung, Merel Ritkes-Hoitinga, Jens Kurreck and many more, including Melanie Ort?s work back in Berlin. The documentary highlights emerging approaches such as organ-on-chip systems, 3D bioprinting, and AI-based models that have the potential to transform biomedical research. The event will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas on the future of biomedical research and next-generation methods. The movie will be in English and German with English subtitles where necessary.
